Description

A rare opportunity for an experienced ecotoxicologist to join a successful and expanding risk assessment consultancy as the ecotoxicology lead expert. You will work in a team of environmental risk assessors in the role of lead ecotoxicologist. Your role will be to provide ecotoxicology expertise to both colleagues and clients; you will be the point of contact for all ecotoxicology enquiries and will take a lead in delivery of ecotoxicology projects.

Your work will be predominantly agrochemical / PPP orientated but there may be some chemical and biocide work; projects will involve providing ecotoxicological support to registration projects; this will include reviewing data sets, sourcing data, study monitoring, compiling regulatory submissions, expert advice and environmental risk assessments. This company has a reputation for solving complex problems – you will gain exposure to non-routine and highly challenging molecules. You will also represent the company at conferences and industry meetings as their ecotoxicology expert.

We are looking for a well qualified and experienced ecotoxicologist / regulatory ecotoxicologist with a proven track record in desk based ecotoxicological support, a strong knowledge of data requirements and ideally PPP / agrochemical regulatory knowledge.
